Psalm 95:6-7: "Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. (NIV)
Sunday Worship is a vital component to the life of our Church Family. It is our "family time" here at MVCCC and a place where we come together in worship, fellowship, and witness. Sunday Worship consists of a time of musical worship followed by a time of teaching from God's Word. In addition to merely listening to a sermon, we also place a high value on applying the Word to our daily lives. As it says in James 1:22, "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says." Immediately following our Sunday Worship, we break off into Sunday School for our jr. high and high school students as well as two Soul Care groups for our adults. This is a time that we talk and share about specific applications to the morning's sermon to our daily lives.
We invite you to check out Pastor Youwan's weekly blog that he keeps. Follow along as he models and practices the things that he preaches every sunday.
